Gymnastics Judges
Just watching world champion gymnasts competing on the 'floor' apparatus. Absolutely superb. Twists, spins, somersaults, and incredible balance, strength and control.
And then the judges opened their mouths. "A disappointing start for X".
Disappointing? The athlete was sensational!
And then a group of comedians were quizzed on general knowledge. As a group they were dismal. Then, working against the clock individually, they were very impressive on topics as diverse as politics and ancient musical instruments.
And the judges? Derogatory. "Gets out of jail with that score".
Self help has to start within. You obviously can't rely on the opinions of experts for your self-esteem!
